Frequently Asked Questions and Fees

If you decide that I am the celebrant for your special ceremony, please see below a guideline of my fees and an outline of what is included.

FEES

Wedding or Civil Ceremony  – starts from £699 (plus mileage costs)

  • Initial meeting to get to know you and your “story” and to discuss the style of ceremony you would like, plus any ideas that I can assist you with.
  • Writing your bespoke ceremony
  • Working together through any changes, until you are happy with your perfect ceremony
  • Wedding rehearsal on an agreed date and time closer to the special day, this can include other family members and friends if desired
  • Performing the ceremony on the day
  • A Commemorative Wedding Certificate, to be signed by the Bride, Bridegroom and two witnesses.
  • A bound copy of the ceremonial script for you to keep

Baby Naming Ceremony – starts from £450 (plus mileage costs)

  • Initial meeting to get to know you and to discuss the style of ceremony you would like for your new baby
  • Writing your bespoke ceremony
  • Working together through any changes, until you are happy with your perfect ceremony
  • Performing the ceremony on the day
  • A bound copy of the ceremonial script for you to keep

Vow Renewals – starts from £600 (plus mileage costs)

  • Initial meeting to get to know you and to discuss the style of ceremony you would like.
  • Writing your bespoke ceremony
  • Working together through any changes, until you are happy with your perfect ceremony
  • Performing the ceremony on the day
  • A bound copy of the ceremonial script for you to keep

Funeral / Memorial – fees £220 (plus mileage costs)

  • Includes a home visit or venue of choice with family members
  • Preparation of a bespoke script and supporting family in the production of their own tributes.
  • Performing the ceremony on the day

Interment or Scattering of Ashes – £80 (plus mileage costs)

 

Toastmaster / Master of Ceremonies starts from £550 (plus mileage costs)

  • Initial meeting to get to know you and to discuss the style of ceremony you would like.
  • Writing and preparing the ceremony
  • Working together through any changes, until you are happy with your perfect ceremony
  • Performing the ceremony on the day

Deposit and Payment

A non-refundable 25% deposit of the total amount will secure the date for you in advance. The remaining balance would be due 3 months before the ceremony. Any extras, require payment upfront/on request.

Extras – if required

Extra meetings or rehearsals would be charged at £50 per hour, plus return travel of £1 per mile.

Travel costs charged at £1 per mile, to and from the Venue.

Overnight accommodation if required, and arranged by yourselves.

I also have full public liability insurance, which I can provide a copy if required.
